Born and raised in the Heart of Texas, singer/ songwriter Tonya Ramirez has had the privilege of co-leading worship in her local church since 2009. She attended McLennan Community College where she received her Associates Degree in Commercial Music Vocal Performance.

From the young age of 10 years old she felt the call to help lead others to the Throne Room of God. She prayed, “God if this is really You, You have to help me overcome stage fright”! When asked to sing church specials she could only do it if she could close her eyes, face the wall, and hide under the large pulpit! Deep in her heart she knew it was what she was created for, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, she was able to conquer fear and step into the call of God on her life.

Through the ups and downs of life, walking hand in hand with The Lord, in 2015 she got married and had a son. Soon after in 2018, she started making small leather goods for friends and family. This ended up blossoming into a successful small business- Leather Fox.

Unknowingly, soon she would face one of the hardest seasons of her life. From early 2019- to early 2022, the enemy waged war against her family. But what the enemy meant for bad God turned it around for good! In the midst of unexplainable heartache, the Holy Spirit helped put her trust in the Lord alone. Out of that time came her first single, “Lighthouse”, which will appear on her debut album, “Seasons”, in early 2023.

Tonya gives all glory to our Father God for His faithfulness, His love, and His steadfastness in her life. She prays that whatever season you may be in, that these songs will help set your heart and eyes on Him alone, and that through your healing, whatever that may be, He alone will be magnified and receive His glory.
