The Elm is a brother and sister (Tim Brummel and Brittany Price) who are worship leaders from Atlanta, GA.
Elm is an abbreviation that Tim and Brittany put together. It comes from the Hebrew word for God found in Jeremiah 23:23 Elohay Mikarov, which means God who is near. The project started as an overflow of a difficult season when Brittany unexpectedly lost her husband Patrick. Through this journey, they have truly experienced the God who is near and want others to experience him as well. Their first album "Broken" has been a way for them to process through what God has been doing in this season and they hope and pray that it will be an encouragement to others. On September 29th, 2015 Brittany's life changed forever. On that day, Brittany unexpectedly became a widow at the age of 25 with three boys under the age of 3. Since that time, God has continued to show himself faithful in her life and given her a platform to share that with others. In addition to singing she is a blogger, speaker, and mother to 3 toddlers! About Tim -
Tim currently lives in North Atlanta with his wife and soon to be 4 little boys. He has been a worship leader/worship pastor since 2008 and loves to see people encounter God through music. Songwriting has always been a passion for Tim and something he has enjoyed doing. In May of 2016 Tim moved to be closer to his sister and they began recording the album "Broken".
